At Christmas Light Source, we continue to love quick and easy projects made with easy to find items that celebrate every Season.
For this project, we're combining our love of mason jars and Christmas with lights.
Mason jars can go from drab to fab with a few simple accessories.
(We think these might make great teacher gifts and might be the answer to your next Party Gift Exchange
Materials
- mason jars
- pure white micro LED battery lights
- faux snow
- Chrismas floral picks and/or pine cones
- wired ribbon
Start with mason jars. Choose your favorite size. (Don't you have a case of these in your stash?)
Micro pure white LED battery lights with their small battery boxes are ideal for this project.
Faux snow hides the battery box and makes us think of snowglobes. Find it at your local hobby, dollar, or big box store.
Simple Christmas floral picks from a craft and hobby store.
Burlap ribbon pairs nicely with the mason jars.
Instructions
Place the battery box in the bottom of the jar, and uncurl the lights.
Add snow to hide the battery box and create a mini winter wonderland.
Carefully tuck in your floral picks or pine cone(s).
Tie ribbon onto jars. This is a simple knot, a simple two-loop bow would look lovely as well.
How can anything so easy be so pretty! We love these in a guest bath, tucked on a shelf, or grouped with other items to form a centerpiece or tablescape.
