Christmas Tree Lights (Incandescent)
Traditional mini lights instantly come to mind when you think of "Christmas Lights." Sometimes they are called "twinkle lights" because they seem to twinkle in a gentle breeze. These strands work well to accent a party, brighten up your Christmas tree, or outline your windows for any holiday.
Choose your incandescent mini light strings by:
- wire color -- green, white, red, black, and brown
- number of bulbs
- spacing between bulbs
What Christmas light spacing should I use?
- 2.5" - Smaller projects where you want a tighter arrangement or are decorating yard sculpture
- 4" - Christmas trees and most standard application, this is the most versatile spacing
- 6" - Larger projects like wrapping large tree trunks, outlining larger structures, and swagging sets across large distances

Our customers have used mini lights in some incredible ways. Here are some of their favorites with a few of our own tossed in for good measure.
Decorating with Mini Lights
Outside, your garden will be stunning with the addition of mini lights along a stone pathway, pooled at the base of a large container filled with fragrant flowers, or adorning benches, fences, decks, and gazebos.
Don't forget your patio umbrella - use mini lights wound around the umbrella supports, to cast soft light down to the table. The exterior of your house, decorated with icicle mini lights, will let your neighbors know that the holidays have arrived. For more ideas on decorating with mini lights, see our article, Decorating With LED Lights All Year.
Light a Deck or Gazebo
Mini lights can be a great substitute for candles on a windy night, safely and softly illuminating your garden, deck, or yard. What gazebo wouldn't look fantastic any time of the year decked with mini lights in white or your favorite color? It will be a wonderful place to sit during summer evenings or for enjoying during the cold winter months while you are snuggled on the couch under a warm blanket.
Accent Your Empty Fireplace
Do you have a fireplace? During those hot summer months, use mini lights to dress up your fireplace and create a whole new ambiance in your home. Place several large, tall, glass vases or containers on the clean floor of your fireplace. Then, add our battery pack white mini lights or several strands of our LED mini light sets inside the glass to create a warm and inviting space, without the heat. This is a great idea if you long for the fireplace to be lit, even during the hotter months of the year. It's even better if you live in the South where it's hot most of the time!
Baby showers, wedding ceremonies and receptions, proms, barn dances, and backyard cookouts are all more festive when decorated with mini lights. Add that extra special touch to table centerpieces, buffet tables, outdoor kitchens, and mini bars with the addition of our Battery Pack Mini Light sets. No outlets are required, so you can use them anywhere in your home, the church, your garden, reception hall, and even your barn to dazzle and welcome your guests. Our articles, Decorating Baby Showers With Mini Lights and Decorating a Wedding Reception With Lights, will give you great ideas on how to use our mini lights to make your occasion sparkle.
Decorating for Christmas
Christmas is an extra special time of year and a time when many people go that extra mile to decorate their homes, inside and out, for the holidays. Use Christmas mini lights to decorate your tree, wreaths, doorways, windows, fireplace mantles, and holiday table.
Create the perfect table centerpiece using grapevine balls filled with Spanish moss and white mini lights or Itsy Bitsy mini lights randomly intertwined around each ball. Once you've completed your holiday decorating inside, go outside and use mini lights, icicle lights, tree trunk wrap mini lights and net lights for making your front yard a true wonderland.
We also carry mini light adhesive clips to help you install your mini lights on flat durable surfaces, so don't forget to add those to your cart as well so you can get started on using your mini lights right away.
Our Frustration Free Packaging
Christmas Light Source is helping to save paper by packaging all of our mini lights compactly in poly bags for easy shipment, delivery, installation, and storage. This allows the home and professional installers alike to deal with less paper and cardboard remaining at the end of the day.
