We love this traditional Christmas light installation on a 1930’s Tudor home. Twelve-inch spacing is classic and most often used in commercial installations.

In case you want to do a GTL: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We customized classic C9 faceted soft LED lights. This allowed us to connect multiple strands and cut them to perfectly fit our roofline and dormers. We ended up spacing out the bulbs 12” from another for a more historic look.

To try this project at your home, start with the following materials.
MATERIALS
- 300 bulbs C9 warm white Choose warm white, pure white, a single solid color, or your favorite alternating color scheme
- 3 cords 1000 Feet C9 12-inch spacing white wire SPT-1 Spools come in green, white, black, and brown. Choose the right color for your project. Choose spacing between bulbs based on size of project and preference.
- 300 clips V Clips Choose transparent or black
