These lights are great at replicating a traditional C9 incandescent bulb. I really like how the light has a gradient effect- brighter at the base than at the tip- this gives it a nice warm look.

These are the closest you'll find to classic incandescent Christmas lights. Unfortunately, the blue is still purplish like most LED lights. I don't understand why it isn't possible to make it a warmer blue. Every manufacturer seems to do this even though a warm LED light is clearly possible to make! Actually this company sells a teal blue in clear bulbs. If they made them opaque and switched them out for the purply blue color in this set it would be much more like the old lights. I think the yellow also should be white but that's less of an issue. Overall, this is still the best LED choice out there if you like the look of the old lights.

I have searched, for 20 years - intermittently for LEDs that glowed like the old incandescents. These are the ones. The produce a beautiful rich colour. bright and vibrant. I have swapped strings of lights seemingly endlessly for the past 2 decades trying to find something that hits like those old bulbs. These are better in everyway. Brighter, much cooler, and more durable. I like them so much, I ordered more.

I have been looking for an LED replacement for outdoor, C9 base frosted christmas lights for a while. These bulbs are a great option that in my opinion are very difficult to distinguish from frosted incandescent bulbs.

Good and sturdy, the color shades are perfect reminds me of the old incandescent bulbs from when I was a kid.

This is my first set of lights I've put on my house. As a kid my parents always had incandescents. I wanted to try and replicate that with LEDs. These absolutely fit the bill.

These bulbs are plenty bright and have nice, rich colors. They very much remind me of the incandescent lights. I will buy more of these. 12" spacing is just right for these along the edge of a roof.
