The connections in rope light are floating and if the rope is coiled at too tight an angle, the connection may be broken. If that should occur, gently ease the bend out of the rope light to possibly rejoin the connections. Also, excessive force used to straighten the rope may break connections along the line.

Splice connectors are included to replace unlit sections. Plug into an outdoor-rated surge protector.

Are the 3/8 incandescent dimmable

Yes, the incandescent rope light strings are dimmable. That being said, the item you are asking from is the 3/8 Warm White LED Rope Light and unfortunately, that item is not dimmable.
