Rope lights are quick and easy for outlining restaurant bars, accenting the pool house, or lighting walkways around the park.
Green is bright and vibrant and works delightfully for lighting not only Christmas sculptures but also for lighting a pub on St Patricks Day.
Cut this rope light spool every 54 inches ONLY between the cut marks with a sharp non-compressive blade to make custom lengths for your project - or you can roll out the entire spool, install the power connector and cord and plug in all 150 glorious feet of goodness!
"Cut marks" are dotted white lines placed along the rope. For each custom length of rope, you'll need to install a power connector, power cord and an end cap on the opposite end. Three sets of these are shipped with each spool and extra accessories can be purchased for additional custom lengths.
Our customers have used these clear spool rope lights for projects like:
- lining the aisle for a bride at an evening wedding
- lighting a Christmas tree yard sculpture
- outlining buildings
- lighting sports complex awnings
- marine applications - light up those boats for a parade!!
- Christmas yard sculptures
The hardware you'll need for up to 3 set ups (3 lengths of rope light) is included with every 150 foot spool. (Contains 3 power connectors, 3 power cords, 3 splice connectors and 30 clips). Additional accessories are available in our LED Rope light accessory category
Keep in mind that these rope lights have "floating connectors" and the rope light's electrical connection will be broken if you bend the neon at too tight of an angle. If you need to write really small words or make super-sharp angles, this rope light might not be the best choice for your project. If you should over-bend your rope lights, gently work your LED connectors back in place by straightening up your loop. If required, areas that have gone dark during installation in your rope lights can be replaced with splice connectors and a length of rope light from the end of your spool.
Easy to assemble, these rope lights will give you the professional results you are looking for.
As with all of our LED based products, we strongly suggest that these lights be plugged into not only a GFCI outlet but a surge protector as well. If installed outside, confirm that your surge protector is rated for outdoor operation.
