For several years, we've put up the Christmas Lights incandescent teal lights after we take down our Christmas lights. We think of them as year 'round celebration lights, and the teal was our choice because it's an ocean color. But this year we decided to get these lights because they are LEDs and because the teal incandescent lights do tend to fade to yellow as the year rolls along. So far, we are THRILLED with these lights. They are listed as teal, but teal is quite a bit greener than these lights, and I'd suggest they are actually what Pantone calls a Process Blue or, as my wife suggests, an ocean blue. Either way, they are very impressive, use a lot less electricity, and seem quite a bit brighter than the incandescent bulbs. Highly recommended!
I really wanted something a little different from the basic blue lights. So I decided to take the plunge with these, because they were a little longer than the typical 50 light strings on the website, meaning less strings to attach together. They are bright! They are not technically what I'd consider turquoise (which I think of as more greenish), but they are a paler, greener blue than the typical blue LEDs, so I think the "Teal" color qualifier still works. You could also consider them to be a sort of "aqua." Currently they are wrapped around our tree trunks, but they are so bright they cast faint light on our house. I like the rounded shape of the exterior bulb. It's different from the typical mini Xmas light bulb shape. My only negative feedback would be that the rectifiers in the middle of the strings take up space, so when lit up there appears to be a "blank" space between the bulbs where the rectifers on the string are. I'm not really sure there is much that can be done about that, technology wise, though. I made sure the "blank" spots were in less noticeable areas wrapping around the trunk.
I ordered the led aqua and blue lights and both colors were crisp and bright. My only complaint is that I would have liked a little long strands. I bought 3 for a small bush, but not enough coverage.
These are blue. Even my husband agrees. Not teal or even turquoise. Not happy with them. Wasted my money. And now I have to pay shipping to return them and I lose money on the first one that I opened.
The real color is perfect and very unique. Lights are extremely bright and look great!
We used these by the swimming pool this Christmas. The color was a lovely change from the typical Christmas lighting and we were quite pleased with the quality of the strings. The lights held-up well under some difficult weather conditions. We will definitely be ordering from this company again.
These lights are the perfect addition to my teal themed Christmas tree. The color is spot on and very bright.
