Confirm that the entire wire is white? In the picture it looks like part of it is white and part of it is green. Thank you!
The wire is all white. The dark looking wire is just shadows.

Are these end to end plug in, and are they waterproof?
No on both questions. They only have a male plug. No female. They are not waterproof. They are water resistant. That can be in a light rain, but will not work underwater.

If one light burns out will the others stay lit?
If a bulb burns out, the rest of the bulbs will stay lit. If a bulb is damaged or pulled outside of a socket, the rest of the lights will go out.
