These clips can be used on the main ridge row, along dormers or on short roof extensions. Just watch for the orientation of the bulbs for maximum exposure.
On long installations along a main ridge, consider running the clips in an alternating fashion - one clip directed down one side of the roof, the next down the other.

I’ve used these when they first came out years ago. I love them. When you have tile roofing it’s the easiest way, fits without compromising your roofing. I’m very fussy and want every line straight and bulb in up right position. I use commercial C9 screw in style bulbs. If you have heavy wind these clip will hold up. If one bulb is out of place in a line it shows. These clips keep them where you put it.
Very brittle plastic, order more than plenty. Bending plastic into place to hold bulb cam cause damage to it where you lose one to use. After harsh climate and storing, the following year become very breaking to use. Does the job when able to use but have no other choice for a clean crisp line on the roof. Will keep buying again and again.

You will have some of these break when you try to lock them in to place. I bought 8 bags. Averaged about 5 out of every bag of 50 would break. Other than that these clips served the exact purpose they were meant to

I had read some people had them break so I ordered extra, but I didn't have a single tab break during installation.
