are pure white the same as cool white? I need cool white.
If you need lights with a lot of blue, these will not work for you. They are more of a pure white than a cool white.

What is the difference between the pure white LED and the warm white LED? I am trying to achieve the same look you get with the incandescent clear mini lights.
The Warm White LED is designed to look as close to the color and feel of the incandescent glass bulb as possible. That is what you are looking for.

https://www.christmas-light-source.com/products/50-pure-white-wide-angle-led-white-wire are spaced at 4". Do you have any similar LED strings spaced more closely?
The only LED lights that we carry that are closer spaced are the craft lights with no female plug on the end. They are 3 inch spaced and have either 20 lights or 35 lights per strand. Here is a link: https://www.christmas-light-source.com/collections/led-craft-lights
