Minleon C7 Warm White Twinkle LED Bulbs E12 Bases (25 Pack)

I'm a big fan of incandescent twinkle lights. We had these growing up and it just says home and Christmas to me. What I don't like about them is that they are incredibly fragile, use a lot of power, and can actually be dangerous. Sometimes when they go out they stay lit at a very bright intensity and can get extremely hot. I've burned holes in my carpet and tree from this happening. However, I've not been happy with any of the LED replacements. When LEDs first came out, the color temperature of the white lights was awful, and very bright bluish light and not at all close to the warm 2700 temp of incandescents. They eventually solved that problem and now you can get a wide array of color temps to suit your preferences. However, up until now there's never been a true twinkle LED solution that I've liked. Some of the other models fade in and out, or basically blink in patterns that looks artificial and is distracting. True twinkle lights blink independently and randomly, with each blink varying in speed and duration. This effect is achieved through a mechanical process in the bulb itself, but it also lends to those bulbs going out very frequently. These Minleon bulbs are the first I've found that have a pleasing color temp AND actually blink randomly, thus creating the true twinkle effect. I'm happy so far, I withheld the 5th star only because they aren't as bright as incandescents for whatever reason. But I still like them and will begin replacing all of my older lights with these going forward.

These twinkling warm white LED bulbs look fantastic and will add some wonderful movement to our city's Christmas tree. I look forward to many year's of enjoyment from this product.

At first I was afraid that if the power was turned on at the same moment for all the led bulbs they would just all turn on and off in sync which defeats the effect I was looking for like the old school twinkle lamps. Once I got them I turned a string of 100 on and in a few moments they were all blinking separate from each other! They look really great! Better then the old school version! And I don't need to worry about bulbs burning out from year to year! I highly suggest any of the colors if you are looking for twinkle effects!
