The Question: "Are your Illuminance bulbs Vickerman?"

The Answer: The short answer is no. While Vickerman is a well-known brand, the Illuminance bulbs we offer are a distinct line manufactured directly to our specific requirements.

We recently made the switch to carrying the Illuminance line because we found they stand out significantly in the market. Here is why they are our top choice:

• Advanced SMD Technology: These bulbs utilize SMD (Surface Mounted Device) technology rather than older LED styles. This internal design allows for a much brighter output and exceptional energy efficiency.

• Rich, Vibrant Color: Thanks to that SMD technology, the color saturation is incredible.

• Unbreakable Design: The lenses are made of durable polycarbonate, making them virtually unbreakable and resistant to fading or cracking in harsh weather.

A Quick Note on Color Matching (Pro Tip!) It is important to remember that it is very difficult to precisely match LED colors between different manufacturing lines and brands. Even within the same brand, colors can sometimes vary slightly from year to year due to minor production shifts (this is true for almost all LED lights!).

Our recommendation: If you are mixing new replacement bulbs with older ones from different batches, try mixing the new bulbs randomly along the cord rather than grouping them all in one section. This "shuffling" diffuses any slight variations and makes them virtually unnoticeable to the eye.
