Can the lengths of each strand be cut to fit over archways, doors, etc?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the strands on these curtain lights cannot be cut to adjust their length.
The lights are wired in series, so cutting any of the strands will damage the set and cause them to stop working. We also strongly advise against attempting to modify the lights by adding plugs, as this poses a significant fire hazard and will shorten the lifespan of the lights.
If you find the strands are too long for your space, we recommend carefully doubling the string back on itself to use up any excess length. You can gently weave the remaining lights back up or bunch them at the bottom, securing them with zip ties or twist ties to achieve your desired look. This is the safest way to customize the fit without damaging the product.
