Squirrels have eaten my old Christmas lights due to soy based wire coatings. Is there any soy based wiring in your lights?
Our lights have no soy in or on them. In our experience we have seen that the rodents mistake the base of the light for some sort of nut.

Will these work with an animated light display or do I need to go with the screw in bulb types?
The LED strings are not dimmable so they will not work in animation. The SMD replacement bulbs in the socket cords are dimmable and can be used with animation.

What if lights burn out or are broken with wind. will the rest of the string work? Also do you have lights that change color so if I want white one time and multi color another time
We have not had reports of these bulbs breaking in normal installation. If an LED should fail due to an electrical impulse or shock on the line, the others would stay lit. We do suggest that these light strings be plugged into a surge protector to reduce damage due to surges. We also suggest that lights be unplugged during thunderstorms.

LED-84317R-PB12 - 2 questions... Do these come in lengths longer than 25? Also, are these screw-in bulbs like the bulk wire strands?
We currently only carry this string light set constructed with 25 LED's to the strand spaced 8 inches apart. This length allows for easier installation and replacement.

Can these lights be used with the ground stakes to border my front yard?
These can be used with stakes but primarily with the style of stake that clamps around the bases of the bulbs. Stakes that support lights with a platform would be incompatible since the wiring coming out of the base of each bulb would prevent them from "standing up" straight.

I'm looking at the C9 Multi LED light string...the color list includes blue, but the picture shows more of a purple-ish. Is this a true blue or purple-ish blue?
The blue in this multicolor light string is more of the electric blue that is common to LED light strings. There is a slight look of pink in the blue. We would consider the blue to be more royal as compared to traditional, glass Christmas bulbs.

Is there any soy content in the light strings?
No, there is no soy content in these light strings. The insulation is PVC. Soy based wiring was an experiment tried in the auto industry that did not make its way into the Christmas lighting industry. (Thank goodness.)
