3/16 inch Black Sculpture Clips 100 Count
I need to replace the lights on my Christmas tree yard art with a black frame. Any suggestions?
Yes! This black clip will work great on your frame if it measures 3/16 of an inch in diameter! We suggest that you make your yard art repairs early before the snow and rain of November and December arrive.
This black clip is fitted on one side to firmly snap onto a 3/16-inch frame and the other side is tailored snap onto the base of a standard incandescent light string. If you are working with pre-wired LED lights, compare them to your traditional lights to see if these clips will be a good fit.
We do offer clips for use with LED light strings that have slightly larger bases.
Determine if this size built-in clip will fit your frame
This is a must-not-skip step when planning your order. Even if the box your sculpture was shipped in has a diameter dimension, please take time to measure since quality can vary and so can the size of the wire that makes the frame of your yard art.
The clips on this family of light strings are rigid and a 1/6" difference can make a significant difference.
1. Find an adjustable wrench
2. Tighten the wrench down snugly on your metal sculpture frame.
3. Gently slide the wrench off the frame and measure the gap. This is the diameter of your frame and should match this clip.
4. Repeat this process over several parts of your frame. The wire may vary in diameter or if your frame is vintage and has been repeatedly painted, the diameter may vary enough that you'll need to use a combination of sizes of clips to install or repair the lights on your frame.
