What do I use to hang Christmas lights on a metal roof or metal siding?

These magnetic Christmas light clips fit snugly onto the bases of traditional C7 and C9 Christmas light cords.

These clips are for traditional C7 and C9 bulbs and cords - Not for 3-wire 20 AWG configuration LED or incandescent light strings with smaller bases.

These clips are only for SPT-2 wire. They do not work with SPT-1 wire.

Be sure to test your installation surface with a common household magnet to ensure that these clips will work.

Warranty

Please test your lights when you receive them! Everyone is happier when we resolve issues quickly.

Our warranty for all our products is 90 days of normal, seasonal use. If a product is defective or fails during the 90 days following receipt of your order, please contact us right away by replying to your order confirmation email. Please include photos of the issue and a photo of your product item number, if applicable. We will work with you to troubleshoot the problem, and if the issue is not easily and quickly resolved, we will correct the situation.

Shipping

Orders are shipped Monday - Friday. During this peak season, orders are leaving the warehouse in 1-2 business days. We are doing everything we can to process and ship orders as quickly as we can.

Orders are not shipped during the weekend or on major holidays.

Returns

Like-new, uninstalled products may be returned for a credit to the form of payment used during checkout. Please reach out to us to request return instructions. Reply to your order confirmation email us via our contact page. Orders must be returned within 30 days of requesting return instructions. After receipt of the return, the amount of the purchase price should be credited within 7 business days.

Will these magnetic clips work holding up c3 Christmas lights 225 count lights on the side of a building with siding?

These were specifically made for the C7/C9 socket cords with the flat bottoms. Any other use is not recommended.

Convenient

We have a flat roof with a rubber membrane, making it almost impossible to use regular clips. I found these to attach to the metal flashing around the roof and they work perfect. The day after installation we had winds close to 40mph and they didn't move at all. The magnet is very strong!
