Easy to assemble, these rope lights will give you the professional results you are looking for.  All of our rope lights can be cut between cut marks that are located every 36 inches.  (In other words, you can't cut them any shorter than 36 inches and your longer ropes will have to be in multiples of 36 inches.)

Tips for Decorating with Yellow Rope Lights

Yellow rope lights may not be the first color of light that springs to mind when you think of decorating.  However, if you are creative with your light decorating and placement, yellow rope lights can come in handy in many different ways. 

The color yellow is associated with sunshine, happiness, energy and intellect.  Yellow cheers the soul, generates thought, and is often associated (positively) with food.  Whether we realize it or not, we’re energized both physically and mentally by the color yellow.  Yellow is used quite often to attract attention.  These are all great reasons to use yellow rope lights for decorating purposes.  (Think candlelight!)

Tips for Decorating with Yellow Rope Lights

• Always use bright yellow lights (like ours) to illuminate a space or landscape.  Bright yellow will evoke positive reactions and feelings and add life to the space.  Dingy or dark yellow colors tend to appear drab and depressing.
• Make sure to layer in other colors with yellow lights, such as clear or milky white lights.
• Yellow rope lights are great for making a sunroom “sunny” on those dreary, overcast winter days.
• Use our bright yellow color lights to direct attention to a marquis or signage for a special event - outlining is especially effective
• If you use these to decorate for holidays, incorporate other colors with it such as clear, pink, green, or blue for added color and warmth
• In a room decorated with hues of yellow and white, bright yellow lights may work nicely to illuminate the inside of a hutch or bookcase
