This clip is specially designed for attaching traditional C7 and C9 (not LED) lights along all types of ridge roof rows. Their design allows standard or forward facing positioning of bulbs. The end "hook" of the clip slides under the shingle edge.
These clips can be used on the main ridge row, along dormers or on short roof extensions.
On long installations along a main ridge, consider running the clips in an alternating fashion - one clip directed down one side of the roof, the next down the other. Then when a big wind blows up you have even hold in either direction.
