I could not get them on my 1/8" wire. I contacted customer service and they said to heat them with a hair dryer. I decided to try very hot water and that did the trick. They had to go inside my penguin yard art and pliers were just not a feasible option. It would be helpful for a note to be included with these that they may need to be heated by hair dryer or hot water to facilitate clipping them on.
These clips fit my wire deer frames that are 1/8 thick. They need to be pushed on to the frame with a pliers, hard to do with just your hands, but they do fit the frame. These clips
will allow me to re wire them with LED string lights.

I have a collections of Wire Deer (8) to be exact and one sleigh that we put out every year. The old incandescent lights were becoming troublesome and I wanted to replace with LED's. I needed an easy application other than 1000s of zip ties and found these as my deer were 1/8" diameter. These worked out great. Now let's see how they work for the season when they go out in the yard on Nov. 1, 2019.
Had incandescent small walmart reindeer that I hadn't used in two years .. used these clips with led lights and brought it back to life!!
First off, I am an engineer so I do know how to measure. I did measure the wire that these clips were going to be placed on using a digital caliper. My wire frame was exactly 1/8" in all places measured. I can't use these because they are too small and will not fit. They are very solid and well made so there was not enough flexibility to put them in place. They do warn you when ordering that these are there most returned item because they are too small. They also tell you that these fit coat hanger wire. I should have measured a coat hanger before I ordered. I did try them on a coat hanger after they would not fit my sculpture and they fit perfectly. If only I was using coat hanger sized wire for my sculpture. I measured the coat hanger wire and it is 1/16". I am rating this 3 out of 5 stars because I can tell they are high quality and will last a long time. The delivery was also quicker than expected. They did give a warning but I chose to trust the size given in the description.

I love the Clips I ordered. They work Great and do the job I want them for I do not have my wire frame fimish yet. But it looks Great with the LED Lights on it. Thanks sincerity Wayne
