Decorating with Green Mini Lights

Did you know that years ago the Egyptians regarded the color green as sacred?  They believed that it represented the hope and joy of Spring.  Women in the 15th century often wore green wedding gowns as a symbol of their willingness to bear children.  In the Ming Dynasty, it was the "color of the heavens".  Many people today think of nature, rebirth, and growth when they see the color green.  Psychologists say that the brighter shades of green create feelings of calmness, relaxation, and comfort.  It is also said that green can soothe ruffled emotions and is the most restful color for the human eye.

With all of that said, what better way to bring the color green to your home, business, or special occasion than with green mini lights?  Christmas isn't the only time green mini lights can be used to decorate!

In Ireland, green is considered a lucky color.  St. Patrick's Day is celebrated not only in Ireland, but also by many people in the United States.  Spruce up your St. Patty's Day party with green mini lights all around.  String lights across the bar in your recreation room, around mirrors, and on the food table.

Taverns and pool halls often serve green beer in honor of St. Patrick's Day.  Use green mini lights to bring the theme full circle by stringing them around the ceiling, behind the bar and around the jukebox.  Your customers will love it! 

Create your very own spa in the comfort of your own home.  Relax and calm down after a long day by soaking in a tub of hot water and basking in the soft light created by green mini lights in your bathroom.  They're easily attached to the edges of mirrors or clustered on a windowsill.  If you have a large bathroom, a few topiaries with green mini lights would be really pretty, especially in the evening hours.  Tall pillar candles with a glass hurricane shade are beautiful with several strands of green mini lights wrapped around the base and placed on the vanity or on stands around the tub.
