How can I change the colors of the lights on my pre-lit tree?
There are a couple of answers to this question. One is to clip all of the lights off of the tree and start again with lights in the color that fits in with your master color plan. A second solution is to use color caps.
Using caps gives you the flexibility to go with a single color, a couple of colors or make a rainbow.
Do you have a way for me to spice up my all-white yard sculpture?
You can use these caps to add red to Santa’s jacket, colors to his packages, gold to a nativity star or transform your snowman sculpture a non-traditional pink, blue or gold to match either your other yard art or celebrate your favorite sporting team.
Will these covers work with LED lights?
No, these caps are designed to work with a small thin traditional mini lights bulb. LED lenses are too large and just won’t fit.
These color caps are designed to work with traditional, incandescent mini lights. In fact the heat of the bulbs soften the covers and can help you snug the caps onto the bulbs if you are trying to install them outside.
You just choose your favorite set of white mini lights, one or more colors of color caps and snug the caps onto each bulb. Simple, easy. No paint required.
