A Christmas class. Multicolor chasing lights are perfect for a nostalgic Christmas tree. Connected in 3 alternating circuits, control the bulb flash speed with a single easy-to-adjust round knob. Change the rate from a slow blink to super-fast flash or set them to steady-on to achieve the perfect twinkle for your tree. Pulled into a straight line, these lights will travel 1-2-3 in a series like a marquis sign. When wrapped and tucked onto a tree, the lights will create a random twinkle effect. Pair with traditional ornaments and tinsel for a nostalgic tree.

Questions and Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • How many light sequence "settings or patterns" for this set of christmas lights?

This set of lights does not have sequence settings or patterns but only alternates between 3 different circuits. The set has a control box with a knob that controls the rate of change from slow to fast.

  • I have a 9 foot tree. Would I need one or two?

That depends on the width of your tree, how far into the tree you plan to wrap the lights, and what you think is "enough lights". While a single set would be perfectly adequate, two sets would make a lot more impact on a tree of that height. Keep in mind that the sets cannot be connected into each other so you'd have to match the twinkle rate on the two strings manually.

  • Do these lights have any type clip made on to the bulb base to help hold to the tree limb? Thank you.

No, these lights do not have a built in clip on their bases. They are built like traditional christmas tree lights and are commonly wound in place. You might consider purchasing tree clips if you need a more secure placement.

  • Is there a 100-light version?

No, this is the only version we have currently availailable.

  • Are these LED?

No, these lights are incandescent - traditional glass with a filament.

  • are these led??????

No, these lights are incandescent - traditional glass with a filament.

  • can more then one set be strung together and connected?

No, the set has a male plug but no female end-plug.

  • If one light goes out on the string, do the others stay lit ? Thanks

If one of the bulbs in the string burns out, then the rest of the lights will stay lit. If the bulb is damaged or removed from its socket, the rest of the bulbs will go out.

  • If one light goes out on a color, do the other light of that same color go out or will they stay on?

If a light is burned out, then the rest of the lights in that circuit will stay lit. If a bulb is damaged or partially or fully unseated, then the circuit will be cut and the rest of the lights in that circuit will go out.

Brightened up our holidays!

We bought these to replace two sets of chaser lights we'd had for years, which finally gave out. I was so happy to find excellent quality lights just like our old faithfuls, with the easily-adjustable timing switch which allows me to vary the speed of the run. The colors are clear and bright too! 'Totally satisfied with this purchase.

Exactly what I'd been searching for

It seems like it's impossible to find incandescent Christmas lights in retail stores nowadays. Let alone the chasing kind. Sure, you can find on-off "twinkle" lights, but it's not the same as the lights we had growing up.What I loved most about the Chasing Multi Color Mini Lights from Christmas Light Source was the variable settings -- from constant (for no "chase") to none (for eye-dizzying "chase" sequence). My second favorite element was the longer than average cord length between the plug and first light bulb -- this allowed me to drape the lights up from the plug WITHOUT having to use an extension cord.My only nitpick, if I had to have one, would be I wish the colors were a smidge brighter. These are nice and warm, for that classic cozy Christmas lights ambiance, but the colors are muted, which makes them less bright from a distance. Having said that, we could still see them chasing from the end of our street. Now I'm just hoping they work next year when we go to hang them for a second time. *fingers crossed*

Just what I wanted

The variable speed blinking lights I ordered are great. They really enhanced the fixed string of lights we already had on the tree. Thanks so much for the quick response to my order.

FInally.. Colored lights that are not just flashing

It took me too long to just go online and find the right kind of lights I was looking for. The simple Flash on and off, was just not what I was looking for. The "chase" sequence these lights have just make a tree pop (I use these with another clear chase set, set at different speeds and it just looks amazing!!) Thanks!
