These light sets can be flashed on and off but are not dimmable. (Most LED sets that I know of in the marketplace are not.)
There are some folks who are ramping the inputs to the their led light strings but the results are not what you'd expect from traditional incandescent lights.
The only choice that I can suggest at this time would be the use of either our C7 or C9 dimmable bulbs and cords.
Here are C7:Dimmable LED C7 bulbs
Here are C9:Dimmable C9 LED Bulbs
You have to be careful not to use non-dimmable retro-fit bulbs or they'll "pop" when you flash them on and off.
All our incandescent mini lights are dimmable. Link to incandescent mini lights
You might consider how much you'll actually be dimming the light strings as opposed to flashing them on and off as part of your display. That's how most of our customers use them - synchronized to the music.
