Have a Question?
-
Will this cord work with LED C9 Bulbs?
Yes, this cord is suitable for use with both LED and incandescent bulbs.
-
On the 100 foot C9 cord, if I wanted to add on traditional sets of 25, what is the maximum bulb count allowed by the fuse?
We do not suggest you add 25-foot cords to this 100-foot cord because, more than likely, they are not made with the same gauge wiring and do not have identical electrical specifications. Twenty-five foot cords are commonly made with 20 AWG wire or smaller. Run an extension cord to the circuit made out of 25-foot cords. Be sure to know the maximum connectivity rating of your 25 foot cords. A local master electrician can add additional electrical information to this basic answer if you have additional questions.
-
How many bulbs for 100 ft cord?
This cord has a spacing of 12 inches between sockets so for this bulb, 100 bulbs would be required to completely fill it. If you are purchasing glass bulbs, we always suggest purchasing an extra box or two to provide replacements for any bulbs damaged during installation or operation.

What is the difference between c9 spt-1 and spt-2 cords? Thanks
The only difference between SPT-1 and SPT-2 cords is the thickness of the insulation used in their construction. SPT-2 is slightly thicker making it a good choice for installation in snowy, sunny areas. Keep in mind that all insulation is susceptible to degredation due to exposure to the elements.
